Prof. Dr. Akın Yücel is a renowned plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon born in Ankara, Turkey. He completed his primary and secondary education at TED Ankara College and Ankara Fen Lisesi, respectively. Dr. Yücel graduated from Hacettepe University’s School of Medicine in 1987 and began his specialization in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery at Istanbul University’s Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine the same year. He furthered his training at Wexham Park Hospital in England and the University of Washington in Seattle, USA.
